Why I Am Generally Pessimistic

- There is no better Republican Party. It is a gang of fascists and authoritarians, and is unlikely to change.
- There is no better Democratic Party. It is weak and incompetent, and is unlikely to change.
- There are no better American voters. They are generally ignorant and stupid, and are unlikely to change.
I will post in a day or two about what it would take for me to revise any of these assumptions.
