This is a test entry.
It's New Year's Eve, and I've been putting the finishing touches on a
Java program that maintains a simple weblog; something to keep my Java
programming skills up-to-date while I search for work. I don't know if
I'm going to link this blog publicly or not; for now it's mostly for my
own personal use.
On the subject of searching for work, let's just say that the
employment situation on Oregon sucks. This suckiness is
compensated by this area being a pretty darn cheap to live in (by
Pacific Coast standards, at least), and my being eligable for
unemployment benefits.
