It has now emerged that, moreover, the hostages were shirtless. In other words, clearly unarmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shooting an unarmed group of people waving a white flag is, of course, a flagrant and blatant war crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It gets worse when one asks why they did it. The most logical explanation is that they didn&#8217;t realize they were shooting Israeli hostages. This is so obviously axiomatic that I feel a bit silly typing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So in other words, <em>they did it because they thought they were shooting unarmed Palestinians.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Which, of course, begs the question of how many other war crimes are being committed.
